Turkiye's wire rod exports increase in October but decrease throughout the year

According to the data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), wire rod exports in October 2023 increased by 44.94% compared to the same period of the previous year and by 86.46% compared to the previous month, reaching 101,568 tons.

Looking at the total export figure for the January-October period, wire rod exports, which were 1,081,315 tons in the 10-month period of last year, decreased by 51.89% to 520,068 tons in the same period of this year.

October was the month with the highest number of exports this year, while last year the highest number of exports was realized in September.
