Türkiye's wire rod exports decreased by 66.7% in February

Türkiye's wire rod exports in February 2025 decreased by 66.7% y/y while increased by 18% m/m.

Türkiye's wire rod exports decreased by 66.7% in February

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's wire rod exports in February decreased by 66.7% compared to the same month of the previous year, falling from 140,933 tons to 46,869 tons. Compared to the previous month, January, it increased by 18%.

Total wire rod exports in the January-February period decreased by 51.7% from 211 thousand 522 tons to 102 thousand 188 tons.

Romania, Libya and Kosovo ranked in the top 3 in Türkiye's wire rod exports in the said month. Wire rod exports from Romania amounted to 9,748 tons, followed by Libya with 7,490 tons, Kosovo with 5,688 tons, Bulgaria with 4,679 tons and Italy with 3,018 tons.
