In January-September 2024, Turkish steel exports to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $3.2 million, down 11.9% compared to the same period in 2023.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Trade, steel exports to Kyrgyzstan in September amounted to 149 thousand dollars, down by 54.4% compared to the same month in 2023.
Türkiye's global steel exports increased in the same period. In January-September 2024, Türkiye's steel exports to world markets increased by 10.7% to $12.2 million.
In September 2024, Turkey's steel exports to the world market reached $1.4 million, up 7.5% compared to the same period last year.
In the last one-year period, Turkey's total steel exports amounted to $16 million.
