Turkey's steel exports to Germany totaled $531.3 million in January-September 2024, decreasing by 16.9% compared to the same period of 2023. In September 2024, steel exports to Germany increased by 4.2% compared to the same period last year, reaching $63.5 million, according to a statement by the Ministry of Trade.
Overall, Türkiye's steel exports to world markets increased by 10.7% in the first nine months of 2024 compared to the same period of 2023, reaching 12.2 million dollars.
In September, Türkiye exported 1.4 million dollars worth of steel, up 7.5% compared to the same period last year.
In the last one-year period, Türkiye's total steel exports amounted to 16 million dollars.
