According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's seamless pipe imports in May decreased by 68.7% y/y to 27,063 tons from 86,348 tons. It decreased by 28.5% compared to April, the previous month.
Total seamless pipe imports in January-May period increased by 16.3% from 207 thousand 971 tons to 173 thousand 992 tons.
During the month in question, China, USA and Russia ranked in the top 3 in Türkiye's seamless pipe imports. Seamless pipe imports from China amounted to 21,001 tons.
