Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 19,1% in January

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's scrap imports in January decreased by 19,1% compared to the same month of the previous year, declining from 1 million 844 thousand 942 tons to 1 million 492 thousand 507 tons. Compared to December, the previous month, it decreased by 19,2%.

In this period, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the USA ranked in the top 3 in Türkiye's scrap imports. Scrap imports from the Netherlands amounted to 253.733 tons, followed by the UK with 205.777 tons, the US with 147.182 tons, Denmark with 118.926 tons and Belgium with 79.233 tons.
