According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye’s rebar exports increased by 52.8% year on year in April, rising from 289,422 tons to 442,359 tons. Compared to March, exports were up by 2.45%.
During the January–April period, total rebar exports increased by 11.2% year on year, rising from 1,349,482 tons to 1,499,984 tons.
Among the countries importing the largest volumes of Turkish rebar during the period, Yemen ranked first. Exports to Yemen increased by 120.6% year on year in April, reaching 74,345 tons. Yemen was followed by Palestine with 40,451 tons, Romania with 36,908 tons, the United States with 23,832 tons, and Syria with 22,820 tons.
