Türkiye's pig iron imports increased by 38.5% in January

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's pig iron imports in January 2025 increased by 38.5% y/y from 114,532 tons to 158,645 tons. This figure decreased by 14.4% compared to the previous month of December.

Russia ranked first with 99,547 tons of pig iron imports, followed by Indonesia with 47,083 tons and Kazakhstan with 17,541 tons.
