Türkiye's iron ore imports up 58% in January-July period

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), Türkiye's iron ore imports in July increased by 98.8% compared to the same month of the previous year, rising from 635,209 tons to 1,263,008 tons. Compared to the previous month of June, it increased by 25.6%.

Total iron ore imports in the January-July period increased by 58% from 4 million 230 thousand 804 tons to 6 million 682 thousand 861 tons.

Türkiye imported the most iron ore from Brazil with 708,984 tons, followed by South Africa with 172,876 tons, Sweden with 164,981 tons, Ukraine with 77,027 tons and Uzbekistan with 73,687 tons.
