Through the information compiled by SteelRadar analystsfrom the Turkish Statistical Institute's (TUIK)and the Undersecretariat of Customs, Türkiye 's iron and steel import value in October increased by 11.7% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 1.96 billion USD.

In the month in question, iron and steel import value ranked sixth in the list of products with the highest import value of the country.

In the January-October period of this year, it decreased by 7.2% annually compared to the same period last year, reaching 19.34 billion USD.

Iron and steel goods came in at number thirteen on the list of the nation's most valuable imports during the relevant month.

In October, the import value of iron or steel goods increased by 17% compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 376.05 million USD, while in the first ten months of the year it increased by 3.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 3.48 billion USD.
