Türkiye’s iron and steel import value decreased by 7.8% in November

Türkiye’s iron and steel import value decreased by 7.8% in November

According to data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and the Undersecretariat of Customs preliminary foreign trade figures, Türkiye’s iron and steel import value in November decreased by 7.8% compared to the same month of last year, reaching USD 1.94 billion.

In that month, the import value of iron and steel ranked sixth among the country’s top imported products.

For the period of January–November 2025, the import value of iron and steel decreased by 5.10% compared to the same period of the previous year, totaling USD 20.36 billion.

In that month, imports of iron or steel goods ranked 15th among the country’s top imported products. Imports of iron or steel goods in November increased by 23.6% as yearly to USD 313.93 million, while for the January–November period, they increased by 0.48%, reaching USD 3.80 billion.
