Türkiye's iron and steel export value was 5.9 billion USD in January-July period

According to data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) and the Undersecretariat of Customs' preliminary foreign trade data, the value of Türkiye's iron and steel exports in July increased by 35% compared to the same month last year to 939.89 million USD.

In this month, iron and steel export value ranked fifth in the list of products with the highest export value.

In the January-July period of this year, exports of iron and steel products amounted to 5.9 billion USD, up 21.3% year-on-year.

In the said month, the export value of iron or steel products ranked ninth in the list of the country's products with the highest export value.

In July, the export value of iron or steel products increased by 10.9% yoy to 808.64 million USD, while in the first seven months of the year it decreased by 1.7% yoy to 5.61 billion USD.
