Türkiye's HRC imports decreased by 39% in April

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's HRC imports in April decreased by 39% y/y to 228,328 tons from 373,972 tons in the same month of the previous year. It decreased by 23.6% compared to the previous month, March.

Total HRC imports in January-April period decreased by 28% from 1 million 479 thousand 23 tons to 1 million 65 thousand 422 tons.

During the month in question, China, Egypt and Russia ranked in the top 3 in Türkiye's HRC imports. HRC imports from China amounted to 79,276 tons, followed by Egypt with 51,759 tons, Russia with 47,941 tons, Japan with 24,641 tons and France with 12,445 tons.
