Türkiye's HRC exports surged by 86% in February

Türkiye's hot rolled coil (HRC ) exports in February 2024 increased by 86% compared to the same month of the previous year, rising from 110,009 tons to 165,181 tons, according to data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). In comparison to the previous month, January, it increased by 50.6%.

Total HRC exports in the January-February period increased by 104.9% compared to the same period of the previous year, rising from 134,257 tons to 275,190 tons.

The top HRC export destinations of Türkiye in February were Italy with 109.5% increase, followed by Egypt with 1.3% increase, Greece with 43.5% increase, Kosovo and Spain with 298% increase.
