According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkiye's hot rolled coil exports in the first three quarters of this year amounted to around 1.2 million tons, down 28.5% year-on-year.
In this period, the export volume was around USD 1.1 billion, down 23.7% year on year.
Among these, the top three export countries were Italy (approximately 237,200 tons, 49.1 percent year-on-year decrease), Egypt (approximately 216,200 tons, 405% year-on-year increase) and Bulgaria (approximately 101,200).
In September alone, Turkiye exported 148,500 tons of HRC, up 34% month on month and down 45% year on year.
