Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced the construction production index data for April 2025. Accordingly, the construction production index increased by 9.5% in April compared to the same month of the previous year.
Analyzed by sub-sectors, the building construction production index increased by 11.6% y/y, while the construction of non-building structures increased by 1.9% and private construction activities by 7.5%.
However, the index recorded a monthly decrease. In April, construction production index decreased by 1.6% compared to the previous month. Looking at the sub-details, building construction production decreased by 1.9%, construction of non-building structures by 1.1% and private construction activities by 1%.
