Türkiye's billet imports decreased by 3.7% in January-October period

According to data collected by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Türkiye's October billet imports increased by 500.2% compared to the same month of the previous year, rising from 104,695 tons to 628,344 tons. Compared to the previous month of September, it increased by 130%.

Total billet imports in the January-October period increased by 3.67% from 2,659,537 tons to 2,757,239 tons.

Türkiye imported the most billet from China with 205,751 tons in October, followed by Malaysia with 139,568 tons, Russia with 93,789 tons, Indonesia with 55,556 tons and Vietnam with 47,211 tons.
