Türkiye’s automotive exports increased 19% in February,it reached USD 3.54 Billion

The Turkish automotive industry showed a strong performance in exports in February 2026, achieving external sales of USD 3 billion 544 million.

According to data from the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters’ Association, the sector accounted for 16.8% of Türkiye’s total exports.

Among the leading product groups, the automotive supply industry recorded exports of USD 1.345 billion, marking a 10% increase compared to the same month last year. Passenger car exports increased 9% to USD 1 billion, while exports of motor vehicles for the transport of goods climbed 36% to USD 654 million.

Exports of buses, minibuses, and midibuses surged 55% to USD 327 million, while tractor unit (semi-truck) exports increased 48% to USD 172 million.

Germany, the sector’s largest export market, received USD 544 million worth of shipments in February. Exports to France rose 45% to USD 459 million, while exports to Italy, the third-largest market, increased 31% to USD 338 million.

Total exports to European Union countries reached USD 2.686 billion with a 25% increase.
