Turkish scrap market in stability

Turkish scrap market in stability these days due to the Eid al-Fitr holiday

Turkish scrap market in stability

There was no activity in the Turkish scrap import market due to the Eid al-Fitr holiday and the prices were stable. The last price of heavy scrap 80-20 was approximately stable at $384 per ton CFR. On the other hand, due to the growth of iron ore prices in China, scrap buyers in Turkey took a wait-and-see policy.

According to reports, European scrap dealers also stated that they cannot trade at less than 385 to 390 dollars, which is due to the increase in the price of iron ore. The trend of the Turkish market will be clearer after the holidays of the next few days and the stabilization of the iron ore market.
