According to data collected by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) and the Undersecretariat of Customs' preliminary foreign trade data, the value of Türkiye's iron and steel exports in August increased by 5.4% year-on-year to USD 888.82 million.
In the said month, iron and steel export value placed eighth in the list of the country's products with the highest export value.
In the January-August period of this year, it was 6.8 billion USD, up 19% year-on-year.
In the said month, the export value of iron or steel products placed eighth in the list of the country's products with the highest export value.
In August, exports of iron or steel products increased by 2.8% yoy to 842.67 million USD, while exports of iron or steel products decreased by 1.2% yoy to 6.45 billion USD in the first seven months of the year.
