According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey's hot rolled coil (HRC) exports fell 7% year-on-year to 1.02 million tons for the half-year of this year, as demand from the EU region declined.
During this period, the main export country was Egypt, whose volume increased by 1,314 percent year on year to 191,000 tons. Exports to Italy decreased by 53.6% year on year to 134,000 tons, while exports to Spain decreased by 82.7% to 26,000 tons.
