According to the seasonally adjusted confidence index data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the service sector confidence index increased from 110.5 in May to 110.9 in June.
Analyzing the sub-items, the business situation index increased by 0.4% to 110.2 in the last 3 months. In the same period, the demand for services index increased by 1.1% to 110.1. The service demand expectation index for the next 3 months decreased by 0.4% to 112.3.
While the retail trade confidence index was 111.2 in May, it decreased by 2.5% to 108.5 in June. The last 3-month business volume index decreased by 1.3% to 119.6. The current goods stock level index decreased by 2.9% to 89.6. Business volume expectation for the next 3 months decreased by 3.4% to 116.1.
The construction sector confidence index decreased by 1.7% to 86.9 in June. While the current level of registered orders received index decreased by 2.1% to 83.1, the total number of employees expectation index for the next 3 months decreased by 1.4% to 90.7.
