TÜİK announced April confidence indices

Confidence index in the service sector decreased by 4.3%, 2.5% in retail trade and 4.2% in construction sector.

TÜİK announced April confidence indices

Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced confidence indices for services, retail trade and construction sectors for the period April 2025. According to seasonally adjusted data, confidence index in the services sector decreased by 4.3% in April compared to the previous month and decreased to 109.5. In the same period, retail trade confidence index decreased by 2.5% to 110.6 and construction confidence index decreased by 4.2% to 85.1.

In the last three months in the service sector, the business situation index decreased by 6.6% to 107.3 and the demand index for services decreased by 6.9% to 107.2. The demand expectation index for the next three months increased by 0.8% to 114.1.

In the retail trade sector, the business volume-sales index decreased by 2.6% to 123.2 in the last three months. The current goods stock level index decreased by 2.4% to 91.2. The sales expectation index for the next three months decreased by 2.5% to 117.4.

While the current level of registered orders received in the construction sector decreased by 1.9% to 83, the total number of employees expectation index decreased by 6.4% to 87.2.
