Treasury cash balance posted a deficit in 2022

The Treasury's cash balance amounted to 108.3 billion liras in December 2022 and a deficit of 169.4 billion liras in the whole of 2022.

The Treasury cash balance had a deficit of 99.5 billion liras in November 2022.

While the primary balance gave a deficit of 92.8 billion liras in December, a surplus of 110.6 billion liras was seen in the primary balance in the whole of 2022.

In the whole of 2022, interest payouts reached 287.2 billion liras.

Net borrowing was recorded as 437.3 billion liras in 2022. While the net foreign borrowing was 75.2 billion liras, the net domestic borrowing was 362.1 billion liras.
