The Head of the Sales Department at the Toshkent Metallurgiya Zavodi (TMZ) plant, Rinat Gabitov, participated in the 19th International Conference "Galvanised and Prepainted Rolled Products: Trends in Production and Consumption" in Moscow on 14-15 March. Important insights into TMZ's production potential and future plans were provided during Gabitov's speech.
TMZ will have the capacity to produce 500 thousand tonnes of galvanised and polymer-coated rolled products per year. Zinc-coated products will account for 200,000 tonnes and polymer-coated products for 300,000 tonnes of this capacity. In addition, the company's equipment has been strengthened with modern facilities such as a push-type pickling line and a reversible cold rolling mill.
In order to support production processes and ensure quality control, TMZ also has a technological laboratory where nearly 100 raw materials and manufactured products can be tested.
The company's production performance in 2023 is recorded as 230 thousand tonnes of coated rolled products. This amount is targeted to increase to 250 thousand tonnes in 2024. In addition, TMZ plans to focus on the production of double-sided polymer and textured polymer coated products as part of its strategy to expand its product range.
These developments are aimed at strengthening the company's leading position in the sector and increasing its competitive advantage.
