An operating permit for the Sento Sé mine in the Brazilian state of Bahia has been granted to Tombador Iron, an iron ore business with Australian registration. Inema, the Bahia state environmental authority, issued the business license.
The company has not disclosed any production estimates, but earlier this year it signed multiple logistics deals to get its product ready for shipment. VLI, one of Tombador's logistics partners, will provide stock storage capacity, materials handling and ship loading services.
