The USA construction spending rises less than expected in November 2021

The USA Department of Commerce announced the construction expenditure data for the period of November 2021.

Accordingly, construction expenditures in the country increased by 0.4 percent in November 2021 compared to the previous month, amounting to 1.63 trillion dollars.

Construction expenditures, which rose below market expectations, were expected to increase by 0.6 percent in this period. Construction spending also increased by 0.4 percent in October 2021.

In the said period, private sector construction projects increased by 0.6 percent, while public construction expenditures decreased by 0.2 percent.

Construction expenditures increased by 9.3 percent on an annual basis.
