The results of the Fortune 500 Türkiye 2023 study, which was conducted for the 17th time this year by Fortune Türkiye and CRIF Türkiye and covers the 500 largest companies in Türkiye, have been announced. While many large companies were included in the survey, important names from the iron and steel industry were also at the top of the list.
The net profit of the companies in the Fortune 500 Türkiye 2023 increased by 77.2 percent compared to the previous year and reached TL 965 billion 800 million. The total net sales of the companies in the Fortune 500 Türkiye 2023 list increased by 60.6 percent compared to the Fortune 500 Türkiye 2022 list and reached TL 12 trillion 828 billion.
According to the research, important names from the iron and steel industry were also included in the list. Ereğli Iron and Steel Factories Türk A.Ş. While it ranks 17th with a net turnover of TL 147,899,792,000.00, Kardemir Karabük Demir Çelik San. and Tic. Inc. 43rd with TL 51,620,725,970.00, Borçelik Çelik Sanayii Ticaret A.Ş. 61. with TL 36,798,715,315.63, İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. 64. with TL 35,511,303,384.00, Tosyalı Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. 85. with TL 25,764,223,589.45, Kocaer Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.
