The GIB–İDİS integration problem has imposed the obligation of multiple invoices and delivery notes on companies

Due to the incomplete integration between the Revenue Administration (GİB) and the İDİS system, official notifications were sent by GİB to certain companies operating in the steel sector. The notice informed the companies that multiple sizes cannot be loaded on the same vehicle under a single slip/dispatch note and that separate slips and dispatch notes must be issued for different sizes.

The GIB–İDİS integration problem has imposed the obligation of multiple invoices and delivery notes on companies

The information sent by GİB to companies included the following statement:

“Loading multiple sizes in the same vehicle is not permitted; if multiple sizes are to be loaded, separate slips/dispatch notes must be issued for each size.”

Following this notice, companies issued their internal announcements to inform their customers and clarified the implementation date. Accordingly, the new loading procedure will be officially applied as of January 8, 2026.

The announcements made by the companies included the following details:

  • Separate slips and dispatch notes will be issued for each size loaded onto the vehicles.

  • After each loading, the vehicle will exit the weighbridge and be reloaded for the next size.

  • For example, for a vehicle to be loaded with 14 mm – 16 mm – 18 mm – 20 mm at the same facility, 4 separate slips and 4 separate dispatch notes will be issued, and the vehicle will need to pass through the weighbridge a total of 8 times.

  • To avoid confusion, vehicles must inform in advance which diameters and how much tonnage they will be loading.

The companies emphasized that this procedure is fully in line with the official guidance issued by GİB and is a mandatory regulation resulting from system integration issues.
