The construction production index increased 28% as yearly in October

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) has released the construction production index data for October. Accordingly, the construction production index increased by 28% in October compared to the same month of the previous year.

When examined by sub-sectors, the index increased by 28.8% in the building construction sector, 21.8% in civil engineering (non-building construction), and 29.9% in specialized construction activities.

On a monthly basis, however, the index decreased by 0.1% in October compared to the previous month. During the same period, building construction declined by 0.2% and specialized construction activities decreased by 0.6%, while civil engineering increased by 1.4%.
