Under the agreement, GAIL will supply the facility with 31,000 standard cubic meters (SCMD) of natural gas per day until March 2026. According to the company, this volume is expected to increase to 43,000 SCMD in the future.
The supply, carried out under the City Gas Distribution project in East Singhbhum, is planned to commence by the end of September 2025.
GAIL emphasized that this deal represents its largest industrial customer acquisition since the establishment of its City Gas Distribution areas (GA) in Varanasi, Patna, Ranchi, East Singhbhum, Cuttack, and Kordha.
