Tata Steel records its best 3rd quarter sales ever

Deliveries at Tata Steel India totaled 4.88 million tons, which the company stated corresponded to its "best ever third quarter" sales. The quarterly and yearly increase was underlined by the continued strengthening in domestic demand, with domestic deliveries up 3% on a quarterly basis and 10% on a yearly basis during the period. Tata Steel India recorded its best ever deliveries for 9MFY24, up 6% on an annualized basis.

Its 'Automotive and Specialty Products' segment deliveries were up by around 8% on quarter and 22% on year. The quarterly increase is attributed to the best ever sales in the third quarter, while the yearly increase is noteworthy.

Tata Steel also received the "GreenPro Ecolabel" certification for its automotive flat steel products.
