The first batch of 18.55mm highest grade acid resistant pipeline steel X65MS developed by Tangshan Iron and Steel Company of HBIS Group has successfully passed the SSC test to resist H2S and other acid gas corrosion. This shows that Tangshan Steel Company already has the production capacity for the whole series of acid resistant pipeline steel BMS-X65MS, making a new breakthrough in the high-end pipeline steel industry.
Acid-resistant pipeline steel is used in the manufacture of oil and natural gas pipelines that will transport oil and natural gas with high H2S and CO2 content to the Middle East and other regions.
