Tung Ho Steel Enterprise Corporation (Tung Ho Steel), one of the manufacturers of rebar products in Taiwan, announced an increase of NT$500/ton to the H-Profile base price in the second half of March.

Due to the continuous increase in scrap prices, Tung Ho Steel's price increase was in line with market expectations.

The company stated that the order volume and details of each dealer should be notified separately by sales assistants, and the order details should be provided before March 20 for the company to arrange production.

In addition, Tung Ho Steel increased the prices of THS 1/2 scrap and A/B scrap iron filings by NT$600/ton, as well as increasing the price of other scrap grades by NT$400/ton.
