UK-based Subsea7 announced that it has signed a contract with Saudi Aramco under their long-term agreement for a major offshore pipeline and facilities development project in Saudi Arabia.
The scope of work includes the installation of 106 kilometers of infield and export pipelines, modifications to existing topsides, and associated hook-up activities. Project management and engineering will begin immediately at Subsea7’s offices in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, while offshore execution is scheduled for 2027–2028.
According to the company, the “major” contract is valued between USD 750 million and USD 1.25 billion.
David Bertin, Senior Vice President of Subsea7’s Global Projects Centre East, said the award marks a new phase in the company’s long-term collaboration with Aramco, emphasizing that the project will be delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
