NMDC Group, a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction, and marine dredging based in Abu Dhabi, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jiangsu Juxin Petroleum Steel Pipe, a steel pipe manufacturer based in China. The agreement aims to explore the possibility of setting up a joint production facility in the UAE to manufacture metallic pipes, primarily for use in dredging and other infrastructure projects.
Jiangsu Juxin specializes in the production of spiral and longitudinal seam welded steel pipes and supplies products for a wide range of projects including offshore wind energy, bridges, port piling, subways, and high-speed rail foundations. Through this collaboration, NMDC Group aims not only to enhance its technical capabilities but also to contribute to the UAE’s industrialization agenda. The initiative stands as a concrete example of the growing energy and manufacturing ties between the UAE and China.
Yasser Zaghloul, CEO of NMDC Group, stated that the partnership will strengthen the local industrial base while delivering sustainable and innovative infrastructure solutions on a global scale. He emphasized that along with previously announced strategic alliances, the Group remains committed to driving the UAE’s economic transformation while actively pursuing projects in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
