The First International Steel MAX Conference is set to take place in Muscat on December 15-16, 2025, marking a significant step forward in international cooperation and investment in Iran's steel industry. Organized with the official support of Iran's Mining and Mineral Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), the event aims to spotlight major investment opportunities within Iran’s expansive steel sector.
Held under the theme of “Cross-Border Investment and Innovation in Steel”, Steel MAX 2025 is expected to bring together a wide array of stakeholders, including leading steel producers, investors, policymakers, and technology providers from both domestic and international markets.
The conference will bring together senior executives and decision makers from across Iran’s steel and mining ecosystem. Among the key participants are top-level managers from IMIDRO and its affiliated companies, including major industry leaders such as Mobarakeh Steel Company, Khuzestan Steel Company, Sangan Mining Complex, Golgohar Mining & Industrial Company, Saba Steel, South Kaveh Steel, Sirjan Jahan Steel, Golgohar Iron and Steel Development, and Oxin Khuzestan Steel.
