Steel pipe mills in Taiwan expected to raise prices

Chung Hung Steel Corporation (CHS) and China Steel Corporation (CSC) have raised the prices of cold rolled, hot rolled and galvanised steel products by NT$500/tonne for October, and Taiwan's steel pipe prices for October will be announced soon.

Due to the increase in raw material prices, pipe mills in Taiwan are expected to raise their October prices. However, pipe demand in the current market is not good and is struggling to reflect the high raw material costs in September. The pipe price is expected to take time to be observed and accepted by buyers.
