The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved special regulations on electricity imports for the autumn and winter period 2022-2023 under the conditions of martial law in Ukraine.
Not limiting the choice of electrical energy is one of the important requirements of the Regulation for imported electricity users. In order to prevent system accidents in the Unified Energy System of Ukraine, the suspension of the supply of imported electrical energy to consumers in the event of the implementation of special shutdown programs is among the conditions set.
Ukraine now plans to increase electricity imports to meet public demand.
