South Korea's rebar production increased in July

According to the statistics of the Korean Iron and Steel Association (KOSA), South Korea's rebar production was approximately 896,000 tons in July this year, increasing by 7 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. Domestic sales volume, on the other hand, increased by 12.1% year on year to 873,000 tons.

In the first seven months of this year, South Korea produced a total of 5.9 million tons of rebar, up 8.7 percent year on year. During this period, domestic sales volume reached approximately 5.9 million tons, up 8.1% year on year.
