The Korea Trade Commission (KTC) under the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy made decisions on anti-dumping investigations at its 461st meeting held at the Sejong Government Complex on June 26, 2025.
During the meeting, the investigation into Chinese stainless steel plates, which was initiated in September 2024, was concluded. The Commission determined that the products in question were dumped and that this situation caused material damage to the domestic industry.
The KTC decided to make a formal recommendation to the Ministry of Finance to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty of 21.62% for five years on stainless steel sheets imported from China.
These products have been subject to temporary anti-dumping duties at the same rate (21.62%) since March 2025.
