South Africa's CRC imports increased by 21.4% in June

According to data released by the South African Revenue Service (SARS), imports increased from 2,519 tons to 3,058 tons in June. This was a 13.9% increase compared to may. In may, the import amount was recorded as 3,015 tons.

In january-june 2024, South Africa's total CRC imports increased by 3.2% yearly from 24,205 tons to 24,980 tons. In the same period, South Africa imported the most CRC from China with 16,510 tons. China was followed by Belgium with 3,828.6 tons and Germany with 3,029.4 tons.
