According to the latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association, Iranian steelmakers recorded a significant growth in exports.
In the first seven months of the current fiscal year (March 21-October 22), a total of 4.06 million tons of semi-finished products were exported from Iran. It increased by 27% compared to the similar period of the previous year.
Billet and blooms in semis exports are 11% higher than in the same period of the previous year. It was seen that it captured a large share in the market with a total of 2,72 million tons.
Slab exports amounted to 1.34 million tons with an annual increase of 80% in this period.
Exports of finished steel products increased by 38% in seven months, reaching 1.86 million tons.
