Signature signed between OYAK and TCC

An agreement worth 740 million dollars was signed between OYAK and Taiwan Cement Corporation (TCC), one of the largest cement producers in the Far East.

The leading cement producer of the Far East, Taiwan Cement Corporation (TCC) and OYAK reached an official agreement for a strategic cooperation worth 740 million dollars. The agreement, which includes the sale of OYAK Denizli Cement shares, the controlling shareholder of OYAK Cimento Fabrikaları AŞ (Cement Factories), to Cimpor Portugal Holdings, was signed between the parties.

The approval process of the relevant legal authorities has been initiated with the signing of the agreement and it is planned to provide 740 million dollars of cash resources to Turkey. In the statement made by OYAK Cimento Fabrikaları AŞ on the Public Disclosure Platform, it was stated that the official authorization process has started and the details regarding the acquisition process will be shared with the public after the process is completed.
