A graduate of Istanbul Technical University’s Department of Metallurgical Engineering, Sabri Kılıç brings nearly 25 years of extensive experience in the iron and steel sector. He began his career in 1999 at Kardemir Karabük Iron and Steel Industry and Trade Inc. as a steel plant operations engineer. Between 2002 and 2013, he served as Steel Plant Engineer and later Chief Engineer at İsdemir Inc.
From 2013 to 2016, Kılıç held the position of Refractory Manager at İsdemir Inc., followed by his role as Director of Workshops and Maintenance from 2016 to 2018. He then served as Deputy General Manager of Operations at İsdemir Inc. from 2018 to 2021. Most recently, between 2021 and 2025, he worked as Investment Advisor (İsdemir) to the General Manager at Erdemir Engineering and Consultancy Inc.
With Sabri Kılıç’s new appointment at Kardemir, the company anticipates accelerated progress in enhancing efficiency and sustainability across its production, operations, and maintenance processes.
