Saeed Zarandi is the new CEO of Mobarakeh Steel

Iran's largest steel producer Mobarakeh Steel is entering a new era with a change in management. Saeed Zarandi has been appointed as the CEO of the company and under the new leadership, the company is expected to focus on strategic goals such as digital transformation, expansion of export markets and production efficiency.

Saeed Zarandi holds a PhD in Public Administration, and in his previous roles, he was the leader of the Payam Special Economic Zone and Deputy Assistant for Planning at the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade. This broad experience will play an important role in shaping Zarandi's strategic vision to lead Mobarakeh Steel into the future.

Under the leadership of the new CEO, developments are expected primarily in areas such as strengthening industrial infrastructure, increasing production efficiency, expanding export markets, investing in renewable energy and supply chain optimisation, and supporting digital transformation and technological innovations.

Achievements of Former CEO Mohammad Yaser Tayebnia

During Mr. Mohammad Yaser Tayebnia's tenure as CEO, which marked an important milestone for Mobarakeh Steel, the company undertook major infrastructure projects and made significant strides in achieving the industry's sustainability goals. Under Tayebnia's leadership, the company demonstrated a strong environmental and financial performance with projects such as the transfer of Persian Gulf water to Zayandeh Rud, the installation of solar power plants and green steel production. With Tayebnia's vision, Mobarakeh Steel continued to grow by making knowledge-based investments and developing new steel products. The company's economic strength was consolidated with record-breaking profit distributions in the last two years. After this period, under Zarandi's leadership, Mobarakeh Steel aims to move forward even further.
