Russian pig iron export rail shipments in March totaled 300,000 tons. Shipment volume increased by 54% from the previous month to this one, but on an annualized basis, it decreased by 13%.
In January-March of this year, the volume of deliveries reached 1.1 million tons, which is 29% lower than last year.
Russia exported 3.84 million tons of pig iron in 2022. Turkey, the US, Italy, Poland, Latvia, South Korea, Japan, and China were among the countries that received exports.
