Russian aluminum wire rod exports to the EU increased in May

Imports of Russian aluminum wire increased to the following EU countries: Czech Republic (300.8 tons; +29%, m/m), Germany (391.3 tons; +29%, m/m), Estonia (615 tons; +10%, m/m), Spain (1,092.8 tons; +42%, m/m), Greece (875 tons; +133%, m/m), Italy (622.1 tons; +24%, m/m), the Netherlands (291.2 tons; +5%, m/m), Poland (748.5 tons; +46%, m/m), Romania (539.1 tons; +69%, m/m).

In total, in the first five months of 2023, Russia exported 29.1 thousand tons of aluminum wire to the EU countries, which is 3% more than in 2022.
