Russia proposes to accelerate the hydrogen project.

Currently, the Council of the Russian Federation believes that pre-formulated plans for the development of renewable energy and electric transport should be preserved, and discussions are underway on the implementation of hydrogen energy projects.

Hydrogen should be developed to have great potential in energy projects, driving both domestic and export development. Before the war began, the Russian Ministry of Energy had calculated the amount of investment to establish a hydrogen power industry.

Russia aims to capture at least 20% of the global hydrogen market by 2050, when it will export 15-50 million tons of hydrogen per year.
