Russel Metals has completed the acquisition of seven service centers from Kloeckner

The transaction, which is subject to customary working capital adjustments in the ordinary course of business, includes locations in Dubuque, Iowa; Charlotte, North Carolina; Suwanee, Georgia; Houston, Texas; Austin, Texas; Jacksonville, Florida; and Pompano Beach, Florida.

Operating across three segments—metal service centers, energy field stores, and steel distributors—Russel Metals holds a strong position in the North American market, supported by a broad product portfolio ranging from carbon hot-rolled and cold-finished steel to stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty metals, along with value-added processing capabilities.

Commenting on the acquisition, John Reid, President and CEO of Russel Metals, stated that the company’s growth potential in strategic regions across the United States has been strengthened, adding:
“We look forward to expanding our U.S. footprint in key geographic markets. We welcome Kloeckner’s employees to the Russel family.”
